She does her job quite well. She’s very
professional, but what stands out is her
warmth. I have seen her be quite warm
and loving with people who are quote-
unquote “difficult”—like I am thinking of
with a stressed-out bride. You would
never have any doubt about her.

Yes, she’s a fabulous minister. I highly recommend her. The bride
and groom just love her.  Very, very reputable.

Highly recommend her. She just relates so well with bride and groom
and consultants which is always a wonderful thing. I would highly
recommend her. She’s wonderful.

Ema is the most wonderful person, I fully recommend her, she is
professional and has performed many ceremonies for my clients and
the feedback from them has always been very positive.

She’s married someone here. I was very impressed with the way she
handled herself. She spoke very clearly. I strongly, myself, would
recommend her or want to use her again and again. As far as a
reference, she was just very, very pleasant. I was very impressed with
the way she handled herself. She was very pleasant to work with.

I was desperate to find an officiant because the
person who’d been recommended to me was
already busy. She’s very spiritual, very pleasant.

Ema was recommended to us by the events planner
at the place where we held our wedding.

Luckily I had spoken to a friend of mine who
mentioned she was going through the same but
finally had found a very nice lady by the name of
    Ema Drouillard.

We really feel we were guided to find her. I couldn't recommend her
more. Our experience with her was nothing short of just the most
lovely thing possible for us. We had a wonderful per-marriage
counseling. And she wrote our beautiful ceremony for us. Her presence
is the most magnificent thing. She’s like an angel. We just adore her.
She lets you into her life too. You feel like she’s a person, not just a
minister. I would recommend her highly to anybody for any wedding
ever. I just adore her.

And her new website is gorgeous, I was very impressed when I saw it
recently. You would have abs no problem having her in your guide. She’
s just excellent. I just can’t say enough about her.

She also has a lot about her personally on her website. Her website
had everything.

We then contacted her and spoke by phone. As a result of the phone
conversation, we knew we had found our officiant.  She has a very
kind, caring way about her that comes across over the phone and is
abundantly evident when you meet her in person.

Ema ended up calling me which was a good thing because being a
bride there was not enough time in a day to get everything done.  She
made everything so much easier.

Ema wrote a draft of our ceremony which we received via email.  We
made a few corrections and got exactly what we had asked for and
wanted.  She was there for our wedding rehearsal and stayed with us
for hours until we got everything right.

The day of the wedding, she arrived in a beautiful cream robe and
when she spoke everyone listened because of her very calm and
soothing voice.

Ema is definitely a people person and she
gives 110% of her time and effort.  I would
absolutely recommend her to anyone and
everyone.  She made our very special day even
    more unforgettable.

The vows she wrote, with modest input from
us, were beautiful. So..."yes," I would
recommend her to others.  For my husband
and I, she was an integral part of a very
    special evening.

So I called her and she immediately called me back—some of the other
ones took a long time to call or never called back at all! So she said,
“why don’t we meet?” And we had a free consultation with her and
immediately fell in love with her. She has a great spirit and good
energy. So sweet. She’s a great listener.

We met her at her house.  She was very pleasant, soft spoken and
just very sweet overall.  We talked for hours about us, our wedding
and plans for the future.  She asked how we wanted our ceremony and
other details.  We even had tea and cookies.

She wrote our ceremony after she’d gotten to know us. We talked
basically about what we wanted and didn’t want. She did a rough
draft. And we built it and revised it from there. We went back and
forth maybe 3 times till we got it exactly.

We wanted a spiritual ceremony, but not a religious one.  Ema helped
us to write a beautiful ceremony that included some of our family’s
desires, yet also was very unique to us.

We wanted someone who was non-denominational and who would
work with us in terms of our beliefs and that sort of thing and it
worked beautifully.

Ema is willing to incorporate whatever you want. She was able to talk
about both religious backgrounds in the ceremony so that it didn’t feel
like either tradition was being left out. I know she’ll incorporate Jewish
or Buddhist stuff too.

One of us is Jewish, neither of us are religious but, we did wanted
some traditional things incorporated into the ceremony.

Ema did a great job of doing this she understood exactly what I was
talking about and was open to the fact that I did not want my
ceremony to be about God but, about my husband and I.

As for Ema Drouillard, she is
    amazing.  When my husband
and I were planning our wedding
    we were having the hardest
    time finding someone who
would marry us since one of us
is Catholic.  We ran into other
little problems and we were so
    frustrated at one point.

Another reason that we choose her is that she was willing to do a
completely non-religious ceremony, which was what we wanted.
We really didn’t know if we’d be able to get that, but that’s what
she did. She wrote up about 7 or 8 pages about a week after
meeting with us. It was pretty right on. We made a few changes
to personalize a bit more. We really liked her.

We wanted something short, but still beautiful.

It seems like a bunch of my friends all got married in the last six
months and my friends were all like, “this is hands down the best
ceremony ever. The most touching.”

One of my friends said she’d love to fly her back East for her wedding.
And our family bonded with Ema too.

WE couldn’t get people out of the wedding, because they were having
such a great time. The whole ambiance was just tremendous. The fact
that they stuck around meant they were having a glorious time.

And people remarked afterwards that it was the best wedding they had
ever been to, including --, who said he was just so moved. He was in
tears. You can’t thaw this guy out with a pick-ax, so the fact that he
was so touched was just an indicator about how wonderful Ema’s
ceremony was.

Also, you don’t have to do all the thinking with her. Like with what to
wear, she said, here’s the options of what I can wear—like a white
robe or a black cocktail dress—she led us through all the decisions.
She’s ultra-organized. And her website is too. Professionally there are
no worries with her. And she’s a person who really makes you feel at
ease and wants to get to know you. She was always prompt, always
there to listen to you and incorporate your ideas. She’s a great,
eloquent speaker, with a great presence.

We were so lucky to find her—we say that all the time.

We haven’t been to that many weddings and so she helped us with a
lot of things, like just knowing where we should stand. She was very
professional, one of the most professional that we ran into.

She did a really, really great job. We met with her and two others that
we found there. We didn’t want a religious ceremony. Ema was very
peaceful. She just had this serenity. We met for about an hour with
her and she seemed very comfortable with what she was doing; it
seemed to come naturally to her. We thought she would have the right
atmosphere. She also has a lot of experience. I think she’s been doing
this for about 10 years.

She was exceptional. She was fun and relaxed. She actually helped
eliminate stress on our wedding day.

She noticed, for example that the flowers were just lying next to the
cake and she asked us if we’d like her to put them on. And she did it
beautifully.

    My husband and I have
    recommended Ema to others
already!  She was more than our
officiant, she was like a new
    friend.  Even our guests
    commented on how wonderful
    she was.

We chose Ema after interviewing a number (5) other officiants.
One was also a per-marital “educator”.  We were particular about
    a few things:

I thought she was really great and easy to work with.

She was very open to suggestions, understanding and supportive
through out the whole processes.

She listened to what we had to say and was interested in getting to
know my husband and I before the wedding so that she could make
the ceremony more personal.

Ema wrote a draft version of our vows, let us make all the changes we
wanted, and then drafted the final version that became our beautiful
ceremony.  She came over early, helped --.  She helped to calm the
nerves of a few folks who got a bit on the testy side, and made our
day smoother than it would have been otherwise.

I have nothing but good things to say about Ema.  And many of my
guests would say the same.

She was awesome. She was like an angel on
    the day of the wedding.

My overall experience was that I would
definitely recommend her.  She brings a
calmness to the whole setting. She has a way
about her. You just calm down when she
    speaks.

Ema was great.  She really worked with us and
used some of our ideas and gave us some
    ideas of her own.

She was very much in control at the ceremony, showed up on time,
helped work out the sound problems and stayed for a bit after the
ceremony.  I would definitely recommend her.

I would not change anything about my ceremony; she really made my
day special.
